Rebecca McNair Calissi received her undergraduate degree in Piano Performance from Huntingdon College and a Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has accompanied vocalists, instrumentalists, and ensembles throughout the Southeast and New England regions and premiered new works such as Ken Davies's Sapphire Kaleidoscope and Anthony Cornicello’s A Coney Island of the Mind. She is an active member of the Music Teachers National Association, currently serving as recording secretary for the Hartford Connecticut chapter. In addition to her private piano studio, calissipianostudio.com, Rebecca is an Instructor of Music at Eastern Connecticut State University and along with her husband, Jeff Calissi, she performs locally and regionally in the marimba and piano chamber group Una Duo.
